What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Treat employees better. I feel that I am always just a body and they can replace me at any time. I do not feel valued at all.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

My wages and benefits are a joke. After working for 22 years I will have no health benefits when I retire. That is sad for a company as successful as Meijer.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

I need my coworkers to come in and not call in sick all the time. I have one who every 45 days calls in sick for two or more days and gets 1 point. Then turns around and does it again the next 45 days.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

I would like to see wages better for people who have been with the company a long time. I would like to see the DSD Receiver paid grocery wages instead of GM wages. We deal with grocery product and work in grocery, why are we considered GM?

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

I hate all the stress of dealing with the doors and Meijer feeling that the Receiver is out to steal the company blind. I hate that I deal with 25 million dollars every year and am not treated like a valued employee. Meijer talks a good story but they do not follow through.
