What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Hands-off management, expectation to get work done however works for you

What are some of the best things about your team?

When I get to work with creative and intelligent people who are interested in innovation and fresh ideas, it's wonderful.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

My coworkers are leaving for ridiculous raises at remote opportunities. Wilmington is not cheap; it just lacks real tech competition, and we're about to lose all of our talent if something doesn't change.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Follow diversity statements with actions, specifically financial commitments. Don't assume that every single employee feels as strongly about in-office culture, and don't try to force it. We've done amazing stuff remotely for 2 years.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

We're in an awkward growth period where we need to refine some processes for longevity, but we're already large enough that any sort of innovative idea is usually shot down because of the overhead. This is driving the people away who have good ideas.
