I think I would enjoy this company a lot more if I was either able to A) transfer to a new area altogether that allows for on the job training or B) do the same work just with a completely new set of colleagues. I love what I do, but don't feel comfortable with my team. We lack diversity!
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
My individual experience here is not great. I am looking for other opportunities outside of nCino. The environment does not suit what I am looking for, and it is hard for me to buy in to the mission. My old job had a much better culture, so I guess the grass isn't always greener.

The free health insurance for me and my family!! Amazing!

The actual work that I do and the customers who appreciate it.

It's not as formal, so you're able to just say what you need to say to who you need to say it to.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
People are very clickish here and as a newcomer, it feels hard to fit in. Also doesn't help that almost none of my colleagues look like me...

More diversity. I barely can relate to them aside from work, makes it difficult to engage and collaborate. I feel like an outsider on a regular basis.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
We cut back our budget on travel and expenses, but we have not invested any time or money towards our employees. We need more social gathering opportunities, specifically for people who are not based in Wilmington, or are remote.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Not everything at nCino is about BOS, yet it seems to be all we talk about. Other areas/departments of nCino feel left out. Also there is no discussion of DEI from the top, and quite frankly not enough diversity here as a company. I don't see nCino as a long term career option for me.
