nCino – first couple of years were great. last 6 months have been absolutely abysmal. moral is plummeting. High profile persons were leaving in droves for the past year. What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

My immediate peers are respectful, kind and helpful.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I think that nCino employees are due for another market adjustment given the salaries present in our roles. Lack of holiday bonus feels bad as well. ESPP is alright but no stock incentives / bonuses as well is disappointing.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Projects feel like they change rapidly, but not in an agile sense, more like a disorganized sense. Miss the days several years ago when it felt like I knew what I'd be working on past just a few months. Current project is also very knowledge silo'd

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Empathy. The way that layoffs were handled was extremely upsetting, moreso than the actual layoffs. Teams were gutted and left with no direction. Address the elephant in the room. Flabbergasted that I heard from an exec that 'i wont be taking negative questions' like are you serious?
