Ever since NF happened... EIG wasn't perfect but they at least cared about employees and not EVERYTHING was about their bottom line. NF very much comes across and money starving and only cares about investor earnings.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Positive? My team. That's it.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
NF leaders profess a desire to be leaders. However, NF leads reactively constantly causing chaos. Leaders are proactive. Again, pay, ignoring employees.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We're really with each other. Genuinely care. It's not all business. Emails are responded to. Ownership of mistakes and we all rally for each other. And we adapt for each other. Only reason I'm still here.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
A raise to today's market standards. Compensation for benefits taken away- lunch 3x's a week, equalling $1,500/year (yeah, did the math) plus readily available snacks/drinks 24/7. Mostly, just a liveable wage in my area would be nice.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Listen to employees. Merits were a joke and not even a little bit to account for inflation. Employee appreciation with things employees actually need and eventually want. Everyone is way underpaid and there's no movement to rectify it.
