Overall, I love where I work and I feel valued as an employee. I do believe my pay could be better, especially with how often I get recruiters messaging me on LinkedIn. I'd like to continue to progress my career here and hope that my talents get recognized.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My coworkers are talented, insightful, and care about what we do for our customers. I learn a lot working with them and enjoy getting the opportunity to chat with them.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The Affinity Groups allow for virtual networking and camaraderie, as well as sharing of common interests, which makes the work culture a lot of fun. I wish we encouraged more meet-ups in person now.
What makes you most happy at work?
I love solving problems and coming up with solutions with my coworkers. I enjoy getting to be creative and seeing how customers respond to my work. Collaborating with teams on ideas and bringing them to fruition is such a joy too.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The leadership team appear to be genuinely interested in doing right by our customers and the employees. The creation of Affinity Groups help promote culture and belonging amongst the employees, and frequently hosting town halls and requesting feedback makes me feel heard.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
We have good benefits (unlimited PTO for salary employees, paid maternity leave, 401(k), etc.). I do believe pay should be more competitive and that the benefits could be pumped up a little (more mat leave, high 401k match, more perks for parents). Would also like an annual bonus again.
