My experience with the company has greatly increased in recent years. I think Newfold has made great strides to be a better place to work but it does feel a little unstable due to steady layoffs and lack of career advancement in certain areas.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Our team is good about flexing to assist each other as needed.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
I dont dislike my job but like most people there is other things that I value/ enjoy doing more.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The advent of the affinity groups has been great for finding like-minded people within the company that I would not otherwise interact with.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I like the changes to the company since Sharon has come on as the CEO. Changes have increased the company culture and made me as an employee feel more valued overall. (e.g. Changes to PTO, beginning yrly raises, handling of Covid)
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Salary compensation is not market competitive and while the addition of yearly compensation reviews and raises is a big advancement over previous policy the raises do not keep up with inflation meaning I am technically making less buying power-wise each year.
