Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I knew I would be taking a slight pay cut by coming to a startup, but the ability to work remotely was priceless to me. However as the tech industry becomes increasingly remote friendly, the value of that flexibility decreases.

I'm not sure how much everyone else is making but it's not that I feel undervalued, it just feels like I'm not worth that much and need to prove myself instead of feeling like I'm trusted to execute what needs to be done, which is fair but not a nice feeling (especially when comparing to others).

Mackenzie has been the best part of my team experience. She is humorous and personable while getting stuff done. She's the closest thing I have to my previous team dynamics, which were unparalleled.

I enjoy the donut meet ups. Its a solid way to get some face time with coworkers you might not ever get to meet.

The whole team keep the webcams on during meetings. It's good to have face time with coworkers especially because we are all remote and never met in person.

What makes you most happy at work?
My flexible hours and work/life balance. I feel freedom in getting to choose when I work and not have to worry about a boss micromanaging me.

The work I do here is overwhelming at times, but it is an engaging and fun challenge, especially when I realize a breakthrough. At my previous company, I knew the product well and was comfortable. I do not enjoy that same comfort here, and because of that, my skills and comprehension have improved
