Overall, I feel that Nextdoor is extremely performative and focuses more on what it looks like we're doing rather than what we're actually doing. The reporting out internally is significantly stunting growth across all fronts.

It started with onboarding. I knew coming to Nextdoor was going to serve me well as a professional. Onboarding was thought out and very executable. I relied on that doc for months to guide my priorities. I was assigned a buddy, which meant I could bug them instead of my boss with silly questions.

There is a large culture problem at Nextdoor and the Head of People and our CEO contribute to that. They constantly force how they want something done instead of listening to their subject matter experts. The Head of People constantly throws his hands up on bigger issues and does nothing.
