I not only would recommend Pendo to friends, I have done so. I like working at a company that values customers and treats them with respect. I've seen leaders go out of their way to care for individual employees' needs. I think that the two are related. What comes around goes around.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Friendly and supportive. Real autonomy. People are encouraged not just allowed to move between roles.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We legit enjoy spending time together Multiple mind-bendingly brilliant people who are also kind and thoughful.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Bonus is meaningful, but base comp is solid. Did survey on what benefits people wanted and then actually made changes from the results.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Strong ideas but still willing to listen. Watched them have thoughtful plans and then change as a result of listening to the "rank and file".
What did you like most about the interview process?
Deep thought questions with really smart people. Pendo was transparent about company plans and I found out they were being real about that after joining
What makes you most happy at work?
Helping customers. "maniacal focus on the customer" is a "core value" and it shows. Solving any problem is great, but I like seeing how much work helps customers. Pendo does a good job of connecting my work to helping customers and I appreciate it.
