This location is falling apart & new hires quit because they are treated poorly. I was literally ignored by my manager during training & another employee was told not to train me. I was thrown on the videos back to back (which the videos themselves say NOT to do). That's just the tip of the iceberg.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
show up, stick around. there's no leadership & it trickles down.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Heaven, the cook who's training me in management is the most positive thing. But there's extreme limitations in training b/c of extreme short staffing. The District Manger just says "hire people". Unrealistic environment.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Leading, training. My current "leader" is a cook who they won't promote b/c of her background & she's helped me the most. An outside trainer (asst from another store) came&just sat in the dining room smoking marijuna w/ her BF. The manager walked out w/ over 1/2 the staff. Eye opener location.
