Work is work and I'm not looking to have my job fulfill my life - as far as this job/position goes its much better than most I've had in the past. I do think that perhaps I am starting to our grow it a bit and finding less value.
What makes you most happy at work?
Being able to work on new projects and see them come to life.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Leadership engagement, its constant and down to earth so we don't feel like pawns.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We're a smaller team and just know each other well. We hold one another accountable without hovering over the work and everything feels smooth although we have consistent changes.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They are conscious of my wellbeing and take time to check in on me (not just on my work). I have clear explanation on why we are doing things (making changes).
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
My role has changed so significantly and my rate just hasn't followed. The compensation package and benefit is just a plus because I know my family is taken care of should something happen.
