What's the pay like for Sales roles at Prudential?
I am 100% satisfied.
What's the vibe like in the Sales dept at Prudential? How many hours are you working?
The vibe is always positive because we work well together. On average, I work between 50-60 hours a week because I love what I do and choose to work hard.
What's the Sales team like at Prudential?
Collaborative, they work together for the shared goal of assisting the client.

Strong, they are proven sales professionals with extensive financial services knowledge.
How's the leadership on the Executive team at Prudential Financial?
Old leadership is out the door and new people are coming in making it a very different place and not everyone is happy about the changes. Some groups are thriving while others are stuck in change mania.
How's the feedback proccess at Prudential Financial?
There is an annual process which takes place in January every year. Very few managers do midnyear reviews but some do. You are responsible for writing everything and your boss just writes a summary. Overall process is very subjective as most objectives are not measureable and no one is held accountable for that. Highly political process and environment and the process reflects that.

Great people; oppressive leadership / "company culture"; robotic seems to work best

Very one-sided and unreasonable. Leadership rules with an iron fist. Company policy is carved in stone.
How challenged are you at Prudential?
Extremely! More than any other highly specialized professional positions held in past.
What's one thing you wish you'd known before joining Prudential?
How hard it is for such a large, lumbering company to incorporate or coordinate various levels of disconnected systems or modernize archaic operations. Also, the extreme lack of the voice of workers to be heard or respected. Opinions and requirements are extremely one-sided and inflexible. Both positions I have worked in have felt like being an indentured servant.

Not nearly commensurate to the level of work, ongoing and ineffective training, multi-tasking and nit-picking quality and quantity requirements for a supposedly "entry level" position.

Chaotic! Frustrating! Disorganized! Unimaginably inefficient systems, coordination and dispensation of information.

Not so good; bogged down in bureaucracy, reports, and uninformed of workers' systems, responsibilities and challenges. Priorities are backward. Goals are unrealistic.
