I feel like my team has a sense of comradery. I feel like everyone is trying really hard to make the best of a tough situation.
I think the work-life balance is the most positive. I have never been asked to come into the office and work on weekends or be forced to work late into the night because of deadlines.
When it comes to raises the company only offers performance-based raises and does not take the cost of living into consideration. This is particularly frustrating when inflation is at an all-time high this year and getting anything under a 6% increase will actually be less money.
We can push back on client requests that don't make sense. It seems like from leadership down there is such a focus on making the company money that we make everything an exception to make an extra dollar at the cost of overworking our employees. We also need to start reinvesting in employees.
Leadership needs to understand that people are struggling and hearing about how much money we are making for the company while we are all drowning in work is out of touch. I would love to hear how we are reinvesting in our employees not about how many millions of dollars we are making the company.
