Review from Engineering Dept
good business problems, varied technical problems, good culture and room for growth.
Review from Engineering Dept
I'm part of an org that has an exciting goal to achieve and im excited about it
Review from Engineering Dept
How they really care about me and make an effort to get to know everyone.
Review from Engineering Dept
Clear communication to the company as a whole.
Review from Engineering Dept
authenticity and transparency in what they say and do
Review from Engineering Dept
Very result-oriented with a focus on quality. Great to see our CTO care about tech debt! This is very rare.
Review from Engineering Dept
openness and willingness to change the status quo
Review from Engineering Dept
Not micro managing their employees and owning decisions that are unpopular
Review from Engineering Dept
Innovation on all teams. Not only some.
Review from Engineering Dept
Clear vision and strategy, real priorities that don't change at a whim, and being far more transparent would be a start. However, I've lost a ton of trust in the leadership team since the hiring of the ridiculous growth org, which bifurcates the companies already struggling culture.
Review from Engineering Dept
Improve program management and other workflows, start a data group to take care of all data related issues
Review from Engineering Dept
No emphasis on talent retention. Not many good technical leaders in executive team.
Review from Engineering Dept
I liked linked-in learning the best, but we got rid of that... Healthcare is good though
Review from Engineering Dept
The unlimited time off/flex PTO/sick leave
Review from Engineering Dept
Unlimited PTO, Working remote, RRSP matching 5%
Review from Engineering Dept
base salary, LTI is very very LOW
Review from Engineering Dept
I was offered a long term incentive. I was hired because they believe in me and they showed that by investing in my future.
Review from Engineering Dept
I could easily leave to find comparable work for better compensation.
Review from Engineering Dept
I feel undervalued because I'm constantly being asked to fix the messes of incompetent Enterprise systems teams with extraordinarily high turnover. All that work is not appreciated for my level and it will be dozens of times easier to get significantly higher compensation leaving the company.
Review from Engineering Dept
The amount to my phantom stock units are significantly under what I could make other places. Health care premiums could be $0 to me - my past two employers made this happen. 401k matching should vest instantly. Why must we wait 2 years? I feel like there's no trust.
Review from Engineering Dept
Growth opportunities are limited. The work certain teams do is not visible to the rest of the company because of the nature of the work even though highly impactful and thus opportunities to move up are limited for those individuals. Certain teams are greatly understaffed.
Review from Engineering Dept
Due to the static annual pay review schedule, I was not eligible for an initial pay increase based on my start date. This, compounded with the recent economic troubles has led me to go 2 years with essentially no pay increase which equates to about an 8% decrease in overall pay.
Review from Engineering Dept
They are all so unique and also quick to help when I need it.

Review from Engineering Dept
I bring a lot of knowledge with me to the job. It is largely ignored
Review from Engineering Dept
We've had very little to no team building exercises for my team. Trust is difficult. One person threw me under the bus in front of the director. In general, I can rely on some teammates but not others. There are other coworkers that I do enjoy spending time with, but those interactions are limited
Review from Engineering Dept
My team seems to not enjoy their work nor do they trust each other greatly. One person in particular brings the whole group down. Outside my team, people seem pretty fun and exciting - I enjoy working with them
Review from Engineering Dept
Take ownership and initiative to make things better
Review from Engineering Dept
It would be amazing if managers could put together some kind of get-to-know-you or a trust activity. I've been asking for this forever and it's standard practice just about everywhere else.
Review from Engineering Dept
The culture of taking care of yourself first. I feel like taking the stress out of putting in tons of work or hours actually makes me want to work more.
Review from Engineering Dept
Great collaborative environment during meetings.
Review from Engineering Dept
work life balance and fact that everyone can be their true selves
Review from Engineering Dept
friendly, teamwork, collaborative, focus on quality
Review from Engineering Dept
people, wanting to change the status quo
Review from Engineering Dept
Some teams have the opportunity for more "visible" work than other teams and their growth opportunities are much more.
Review from Engineering Dept
More empathy in our leadership and trust in expert opinions with fewer but higher impact goals
Review from Engineering Dept
Positivity from the teams up, building trusting teams, better compensation and benefits, more agile approaches to tackling problems
Review from Engineering Dept
Policy and comm. changes from HR that show they are interested in the employees and not just the company. Ways for employees to get to know each other better, especially when on the same team. Managers and directors should trust their subordinates with recommendations so there is less redoing work.
Review from Engineering Dept
I think gaining trust will take time. This company should hit pause button on layoff people for few years.

Give smart people the opportunity to do great thing instead of hiding behind positions
Review from Engineering Dept
Benefits and pay could be better. Teams need help with trusting one another. Communication platforms should be simplified and have an emphasis on accessibility. My manager needs to challenge me and give me criticism, not just praise. The turnaround time for review cycles need to be shorter.
Review from Engineering Dept
Some teams are understaffed, the work isn't very appealing(and not innovative) and hiring is stagnant while salaries are sometimes 30+% less than competitor compensations for the same position.
Review from Engineering Dept
Creating innovative features and technology
Review from Engineering Dept
I don't often feel valued at work, my team has negative energy in general, and there are people I've learned I cannot trust. Tackling any of these things would help it improve
