Does Ross Stores drug test or do a background check?
I was not drug tested, but the background check has to clear before they would even schedule onboarding. If you apply to another position in the company, they run another one, or at least they did on me when I applied to area supervisor at the encouragement of the general manager but didn't get even though they said the check had cleared. They promoted a guy from another store and then found so much fault with how he did his job he left the company. Then they promoted another fellow employee who hadn't even been there as long as me who called in all the time.
