What part of Ross Stores's business is growing fastest? What part is having difficulties?
Here at the store where I'm located, most customers have been purchasing clothing to send to their countries. Home is also doing well since the hurricanes.
If you could make changes, how would you improve the culture at Ross Stores?
I believe if it's possible to have one or two people on the floor to assist customers and pick up merchandise off the floor on a daily basis. Customers would nit have to interup the cashiers and the stire will be maintained.
What do people at Ross Stores think about the CEO? What do they do well and what can they improve?
They think he's great. Ross needs to improve their Loss Prevention and scheduling.
How's the work life balance at Ross Stores?
Full time associates have a difficult time since they are scheduled 4 closings a week. Sometimes with the scheduling, it runs on to the next new payroll week and it's brutal.
How does Ross Stores make decisions around promotions?
I believe the time and growth experience is a key factor.
