Interview process was streamlined, easy, organized, and fun!
What do you like best about the leadership team?
My manager, in particularly, is beyond excellent. He encourages autonomy, provides increasing (but not overwhelming) responsibility, and genuinely cares about all of his direct reports. Couldn't ask for a better leader.
What makes you most happy at work?
All of the above. The culture, the work environment, the management, the passion that employees have, and the talent pool make Shipt truly the best place I have ever worked. I look forward to coming to work each and every day.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Compensation is very competitive, but the best part is the discretionary, unlimited PTO. It turns out, that if you hire good, determined, driven people, you actually find that no one abuses that policy and end up having a more productive, positive culture.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The best part about Shipt is the culture. It's a positive, encouraging, exciting, and fast-paced work environment while management still makes work-life balance for its employees a priority. It's laid back, fun, but at the same time, a very performance-driven culture. That's a very rare combination.
What are some of the best things about your team?
I work with some of the most intelligent, driven, engineerson the planet. I have worked several places where the talent, ambition, and drive were sub par, but at Shipt, it's the polar opposite. Not only is the talent pool outstanding here, but everyone has passion for what we do.
