What do you like best about the leadership team?
Hosting live meetings to address employee questions and concerns, good or bad. In a time where it feels like company leaders are segregating themselves from the employees that are responsible for achieving the goals they set, swift transparency is extremely valued at all levels of leadership.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel like I need to battle for the upward mobility I feel I deserve against leaders who maybe "drag their feet" a bit more, do not prioritize my career aspirations as much as their own, and/or prioritize their other work besides their people manager responsibilities.

When team members have expressed discomfort and were looking at other opportunities, I've heard middle management's response be the exact opposite of trying to retain the employee and letting them walk. Was not thrilled to witness that first hand.

Being properly compensated. Being below industry average isn't acceptable anymore. There's a reason turnover is high and we cannot retain top dev talent. As much as I hate it, dollars are what keep people, not snacks.
