Although the product quality is excellent the attitudes towards Associates not directly involved in Manufacturing tends to be one of "You're all replaceable widgets, and you need to be sitting at your Widget Desk". In a post-Pandemic era that attitude is leading to a major talent exodus.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
If it was closer to market value.
What makes you most happy at work?
Unfortunately right now it's the end of the day that makes me happiest.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
With a few notable exceptions they are demanding but fair, and try to accommodate reasonable requests regarding working conditions.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Modernize the working conditions and rules for the white-collar Associates. Align compensation with local norms. Behave like they mean everything printed on the "Who we are" posters.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The company leans strongly towards long-term associates (although a recent spate of early retirements have impacted that). In those circumstances you have the time to build solid working relationships within a group of people.
