The managers (general and above) see employees as tools and do not care at all about them. The ones who do care are seen as weak and usually end up getting fired or hounded by their managers until they quit.

Social skills and being able to take constructive criticism; very easy to get on management's bad side for the entirety of your stay.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Coworkers are usually in the same age bracket depending on area making it fun to get along with them, but management will usually break up any conversations that do not directly pertain to work.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
General managers and above need to be seen as more human and see their employees as human as well. It is hard to have any communications with someone who believes they are above you in every way.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
This company is definitely failing as a whole, and is starting to move to an online front instead of retail. The issue is both website and retail options do not have any real communication so most customers come inside for items retail does not sell. Useless/random products are sold a lot.
