If it weren't for the lack of pay, the sales manager, and a few of the policies, I wouldn't mind my job as much, but there are so many issues that have yet to be resolved.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Some of my coworkers are hardworking and are able to work well with customers.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
When the sales manager isn't there, everything is peaceful, and everyone gets along better.
What did you like most about the interview process?
I like that the questions were relevant to the job. I also like how the general manager explained that my skills are a good fit for the position.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel $11 should be the minimum wage for all the work that is expected of associates. I also feel we should be rewarded financially for rewards sign ups, protection plans, and excellent surveys. Health insurance should also be included in our benefits.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
The sales manager can be very difficult to work with. She treats associates terribly; yelling at us and constantly criticizing us no matter how well we do. If she isn't fired, I think she needs to be demoted and watched over until she behaves better.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
The managers and supervisors at my store need to get better at communicating with one another. Often the supervisors can't agree on what needs to be done, or who needs to do it. Associates will be given a task only to have someone give them an entirely different task in the middle of their project.
