Tenable Interviews Employee Reviews

What did you like most about the interview process?

meeting the whole team I work for.

Review from Operations Dept

I liked how I was able to interview with every level of the team during the interview process. I was able to meet my coworkers, manager, and director before onboarding.

Review from Operations Dept

Transparency and very good communication and continuous feedback.

Review from Sales Dept

Fast and clear, I was informed of the steps and what to expect.

Review from HR Dept

All interviews were via video chat and did not require taking time off or travel.

Review from Legal Dept

everyone seems to like working here and were positive about the future.

Review from Customer Success Dept

My recruiter was open, honest, and their true authentic self. They didn't hold anything back. It was a smooth process.

It's been a long time since I've been involved in the process but ultimately, I love how we gauge the thinking of the candidate. That's important.

Not only did I get to interview with the team that I'm joining, but also with the business partners which gave me a really good idea of what to expect if I join.

Review from HR Dept

Maybe less meeting. I had 7 interviews in total. I could've met 2 people in one interview.

allowed me to show my skills

The interview process didn't feel like you were being grilled or that they were trying to intentionally find ways to trip you up or put you on the spot, but more like a conversation regarding how your experiences and goals align with those of the role for which you were applying and the company.

multiple discussions with different team members. This helped me to get a better understanding of what to expect. Everyone did an excellent job to sell the company to me while going through the process.

Everyone was open and honest, no surprises once I joined. Company was willing to add steps in the process so I could meet some of the team to validate their experiences.

Sitting down for an indeterminate period of time with my would-be manager and teammates

Open and friendly - keen to know about me as much as sell the position to me.

Review from Sales Dept

Getting to speak with members of different teams meant i got to see the role from many different perspectives before starting.

Review from Engineering Dept

Transparent and open to all my questions. Talking to all relevant managers.

Review from Sales Dept

Fantastic communication throughout the process

Review from HR Dept

Communication and visibility, sharing the details and the steps; giving the meaning of each call and learning in details the position and the requirement

What would you improve about your company's interview process?

Streamline it. Get back to applicants quickly. Follow up with employers who do submit referrals, because I promise you when HR goes silent, they are asking that person.

More proactive updates from the hiring team would have made my experience a lot less stressful. There are always outside factors that can slow down an interview/hiring process, but if there are candidates that the company truly wants, that effort would go a long way.
