What do you like best about the leadership team?

Leadership Reviews

They are very inspirational and motivating

Review from Engineering Dept

Support the team Clear message about the objectives

Review from Engineering Dept

I believe we are on track to maintain ourselves as leader in Exposure Management. I love the energy. Collaboration is a core value within our company and that is amazing.

Review from Customer Support Dept

It seems like the leadership team is doing everything in their power to both elevate and grow Tenable and retain their employees.

Review from HR Dept

I value the leadership's focus on empowering and supporting the team. They rely on our expertise, giving us the autonomy to innovate and make decisions, which demonstrates a clear focus on individual talent. Their support is crucial: they view mistakes as learning opportunities, not failures.

Review from Customer Success Dept

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Leadership Reviews

Lean in to the great corporate culture. We don't want to lose it. That said, we do not have a long term focused strategic vision to rally around that aligns all departments. Each department works independently. We could win in the market if we were aligned and working towards common goals.

Review from IT Dept

They need a progressive mindset.

Review from Sales Dept

They should not discriminate people, have clear objectives and better management.

Review from Marketing Dept

The leadership team is motivated almost entirely by chasing shiny objects in the hope that it will bump up the stock price. They are obsessed with their competitors, and the people who join our leadership team are rarely qualified to lead.

Review from Engineering Dept

There is lip service to certain values and commitments which is not always backed by anything concrete or in actual practice

Review from Marketing Dept

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Compensation Reviews

Having RSUs and free gym

Review from Engineering Dept

Health insurance and pension and paid time off

Review from Customer Success Dept

Medical Benefits, Flexibility, Bonus and Stocks

Review from Engineering Dept

Health and Dental insurance plans. I love the Stocks as well.

Review from Customer Support Dept

I like that Tenable splits up the bonus and pays out every quarter. The RSU's are also a great perk.

Review from HR Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Compensation Reviews

I feel that my base salary could be a little bit higher. The benefits and RSU's make up for it.

Review from IT Dept

i have only received one small merit raise and I have been here 3 years.

Review from Marketing Dept

I made it to Platinum Club and have shown incredible work ethic, adaptability and resilience in my role. I feel as though I should be rewarded fairly to market conditions against my current Total OTE package...

Review from Sales Dept

A newcomer to the company started on the same base salary and I am his manager. I have been offered roles from other companies as an individual contributor with a larger base salary than I am currently on. Feels external candidates have a better chance of negotiating salary than existing employees

Review from Sales Dept

I feel that my compensation is below the industry average for my country and region. I raised it and got no feedback which was disappointing. I just want to be heard and I wasn't.

Review from Sales Dept

What are some of the best things about your team?

Team Reviews

We all collaborate to achieve the goal

Review from Engineering Dept

Collaboration, Collaboration, Collaboration. Also, the team is always ready to share knowledge.

Review from Customer Support Dept

Everyone has been incredibly warm and welcoming so far. They all tell me I can reach out with questions at any time and have been incredibly patient as I ramp up and learn my new role.

Review from HR Dept

The best part is our collective drive and reliability. We have exceptional collaboration, meaning we quickly share expertise and support each other under pressure. We're very results-focused, ensuring we deliver high-quality work efficiently and meet all deadlines without fail.

Review from Customer Success Dept

My team is very supportive and always willing to lend a hand when needed.

Review from IT Dept

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

Team Reviews

I can't classify all coworkers in one category. Some coworkers are awesome to work with, I learn from them and work together to achieve success. Others do everything they can to bring you down and humiliate you so they feel bigger about themselves to the point I dread having interaction with them.

Review from Sales Dept

More frequent, informal gatherings (online and in person) would help our fully remote team relate to one another as people.

Review from Operations Dept

I work really well with my team. Rest of the departments are a bit detouched. Most of the people in my region has a finger pointing attitude. I think we should work on collaborating and helping each other instead of being antagonists.

Review from Sales Dept

Better responsiveness, no discrimination, better listening

Review from Marketing Dept

be more professional, increase their code quality, have wider look on the system

Review from Engineering Dept

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Environment Reviews

Activities to interact with the rest of the company

Review from Customer Success Dept

Support and Collaboration among the co-workers it's amazing. I never worked in a place like this... It really makes the difference

Review from Engineering Dept

Great culture on collaboration and the company does provide great hardware (Apple/Jabra/Logitech)

Review from Customer Support Dept

I enjoy the frequent volunteer activity and lunches. Having fun social outings like Turkey Bowl to look forward to is also really great. It seems as though employee appreciation is baked into the culture and everyone is very approachable.

Review from HR Dept

The most positive aspect is the collaborative and inclusive environment. Everyone is highly supportive, fostering a 'we're in this together' attitude, rather than competition.

Review from Customer Success Dept

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Environment Reviews

More flexibility in the work-from-home policy. Paying out PTO to employees if they leave the company. The ability to travel for professional development. Merit performance needs to increase and is always significantly lower than inflation.

Review from Operations Dept

Overall, from a higher end it's awesome and I love it. Few points - Ensure that you have at least a person with core technical competencies when hiring for a specific role say performance. - It would be good practice to have an HR round that helps filter out unprofessional attitude or behaviour

Review from Engineering Dept

kindness, no discrimination, no superior tone

Review from Marketing Dept

less zoom more office. when people are physically close together they become more close in other levels which improve discussions and destination making

Review from Engineering Dept

There are certain toxic elements in the management and leadership change that need to be removed.

Review from Engineering Dept

What did you like most about the interview process?

Interviews Reviews

meeting the whole team I work for.

Review from Operations Dept

I liked how I was able to interview with every level of the team during the interview process. I was able to meet my coworkers, manager, and director before onboarding.

Review from Operations Dept

Transparency and very good communication and continuous feedback.

Review from Sales Dept

Fast and clear, I was informed of the steps and what to expect.

Review from HR Dept

All interviews were via video chat and did not require taking time off or travel.

Review from Legal Dept

What would you improve about your company's interview process?

Interviews Reviews

Streamline it. Get back to applicants quickly. Follow up with employers who do submit referrals, because I promise you when HR goes silent, they are asking that person.

More proactive updates from the hiring team would have made my experience a lot less stressful. There are always outside factors that can slow down an interview/hiring process, but if there are candidates that the company truly wants, that effort would go a long way.

Review from Customer Success Dept

What makes you most happy at work?

Outlook Reviews

Having a working solution for customers

Review from Customer Success Dept

Everyday it's a new challenge and learning that makes us grow as a person and professional

Review from Engineering Dept

Great hardware and infrastructure. Tons of resources to learn. Colleagues that will cover my back while I am learning more abou our solutions.

Review from Customer Support Dept

My relationships. If I feel like I've made good relationships with the people I work with and my client groups are satisfied, then I'm happy.

Review from HR Dept

Achieving tangible results that directly benefit the client or the company is what brings me the most joy. When a complex problem is solved, and I see the positive impact, that's fantastic. Equally, I love the constant opportunity for learning and development, knowing that I'm consistently improving

Review from Customer Success Dept

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Outlook Reviews

New mindset. More flexibility. Culture of trust and support.

Review from Sales Dept

kindness, no discrimination, no superior tone

Review from Marketing Dept

Too much focus on growth without focusing on getting the fundamentals on solid footing that will better support that growth.

Review from Engineering Dept

Nowadays Tenable is driven entirely by the sales and marketing team. The people who least understand our products are making decisions they should not. Also these are very large teams now considering all the moving pieces in the products.

Review from Engineering Dept

The company needs to listen to feedback that it is being offered on a regular basis. Customers and employees alike have chosen to be extremely transparent in the best interest of the company and yet nothing changes.
