Honestly, it's the ERG groups within Tenable that keep the culture alive. I'm very grateful we have them.

Tenable is a good place with good people and I appreciate that those who do not share this do not have a place here.

Great culture on collaboration and the company does provide great hardware (Apple/Jabra/Logitech)

I enjoy the frequent volunteer activity and lunches. Having fun social outings like Turkey Bowl to look forward to is also really great. It seems as though employee appreciation is baked into the culture and everyone is very approachable.
Review from HR Dept
The most positive aspect is the collaborative and inclusive environment. Everyone is highly supportive, fostering a 'we're in this together' attitude, rather than competition.

More flexibility in the work-from-home policy. Paying out PTO to employees if they leave the company. The ability to travel for professional development. Merit performance needs to increase and is always significantly lower than inflation.

Overall, from a higher end it's awesome and I love it. Few points - Ensure that you have at least a person with core technical competencies when hiring for a specific role say performance. - It would be good practice to have an HR round that helps filter out unprofessional attitude or behaviour

less zoom more office. when people are physically close together they become more close in other levels which improve discussions and destination making

There are certain toxic elements in the management and leadership change that need to be removed.

The company culture would be much better if there was a real focus on defining product vs letting some high level vision and then engineering defining that vision

It's time for a complete shake-up. Eliminate VPs, directors, and managers that do nothing (you folks know who these are). The Clueless "managerial gentry" class has bloated to obscene levels. Engineers and researchers need to be empowered to make decisions. Reduce the bloat and it will happen.
The customers want to sacrifice accuracy for reports that nothing is wrong. Do not allow this.
Employees across departments should be treated equally, they are not.
Plane to deal with tech debt vs always pushing for new features.
