I've been given the opportunity to grow not only in my own skillsets but as a person. I love the environment GEO corporate provides and am grateful for the experience I've gained while working here.
What makes you most happy at work?
Being around my team. The work I do is also very rewarding to me personally.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Willingness to come together to provide solutions the team is facing. Always supportive of one another.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The culture/environment at GEO makes me feel safe as a conservative adult in an increasingly crazy world.
What are some of the best things about your team?
They're incredibly intelligent and work very hard, mostly staying late to get caught up or work on pressing issues the team is facing.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel undervalued solely based on pay. My team and manager make me feel like part of a family, but I make about as much as someone at Starbucks makes, and that's after I have worked extremely hard all week on multiple assignments/tasks and requests. I also can barely afford cost of living.
