Working for the Geo Group has been an amazing journey thus far. I have been given the opportunity to work in a department that I am consistently learning and keeps me on my feet. I am grateful to have the opportunity to work for this organization that is close to home and that offers great perks.
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
Working for Geo has been a great experience overall, my experience includes analyzing several reporting on a weekly basis and then sending those reports to the field which sometimes leads to collaborating with the field HR Managers.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Reaction when a comment is made, offensive tone, odor.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I like that the leadership team shows they care and are invested in me.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Responsibility of their task and knows what needs to get done to complete their work.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I like that my Director and VP welcome the exploration of new ideas, I like that employees seemed to be engaged and motivated.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Some of the best things about the team is the patience provided in training, coaching, and development. My coworker cares about me and wants to see me succeed.
What makes you most happy at work?
What makes me the happiest at work is the work life balance which allows me to spend more time with my family, proximity from home, and the added benefits such as PTO.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
What I like best about the leadership team is the attention they give me when I have questions or need something; they give me their full attention and show that they care about me, my family and the work that I put in.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I have learned the primary duties and responsibilities that were advertised when I applied for the job, however, the salary is not aligned to the compensation base that was initially advertised when the job was posted. Also, I would appreciate more opportunities for growth and development, such as

Every day is not the same, obviously on a weekly basis you have the same reports that need to out to the field but other than this, every day there is a new task or issue that needs to be resolved and I like that because it keeps me engaged and on my toes and most importantly I am always learning.
