GEO Group is fantastic overall. I love my coworkers and feel supported by my supervisors. The benefits are pretty great but in order for GEO to maintain its competitiveness in hiring individuals, it must move towards hybrid/optional remote work. It will boost employee morale and is convenient.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We are very team oriented and have a good time at work while doing our jobs. It helps the day go by fast as well as encourages high work ethic.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Remote work would be a great option. People would take less sick days and issues like illness, unreliable transportation, moving, etc. would not be an issue as people would still be able to work. Those living too far from work would also be able to work as commuting would no longer be a factor.
