From day 1, I was made to feel as if I have always been a member of the team; that I am as important as everyone else; and that we all are passionate about the GEO mission.
What makes you most happy at work?
A feeling of working for a mission that I believe in and my own contribution to making our company goals an achievement.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Even if we run into a conflict of some sort, everyone is willing to make the time and put forth the energy to resolve the conflict, which makes us feel more like a team.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The last place I worked for 3 years had no benefits. I am grateful that the benefits I now have suit the needs in my life which mirrors our goal of meeting the needs of our participants.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
My favorite part of the culture is that, not only do we all care about what we are working together to do for our participants, there is a feeling of care that includes the entire staff as well.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I am fairly new, approximately 6 weeks now in my position. I appreciate that there is ongoing training and the assurance that they will not have me doing some things until I feel ready for them. It takes some of the pressure off of starting in a new position.
