I am new but I have been treated very nicely since the point of applying all the way to today. I am connecting with my coworkers and I have also helped with employee appreciation and that was fun and nice to be able to meet the employees that I rarely see because of where I work.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Most employees seem to be content here and I like that.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I like that they are so involved in things and know the employees.
What makes you most happy at work?
Learning all of the new things and the extent of the checks we do on candidates. I like being a part of something important.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My personal team is great and very helpful as I am new here. Most of my interactions with the others in the admin office are brief but pleasant. I am very happy here in general.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel like HR Specialists should be paid a competitive wage especially with all of the work we do and how secure we have to be. We carry a lot and the compensation is not enough. We should be making at least $20 per hour as a base pay.
