In the 10+ years I've been with the company, I have advanced my position from a front line Corrections Officer to a Corporate Office Employee. I've seen many opportunities for career advancement and have had the ability to choose my own path to find what fulfills me the best within this field.
What makes you most happy at work?
I have a freedom within my job that many other places don't have.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The leadership is able to communicate a consistent message of "Changing behavior, Changing Lives" and everything we are trained in reflects that mission.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
We have one of the best paid time off packages, not only in the industry, but compared to many industries. Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage are better than even many hospital employee's coverage!
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is dedicated to Geo's mission of safety within our facilities and becoming the world's #1 leader in rehabilitative programming. Our passion shows in everything we do and we have the opportunity to affect so many lives with that passion.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Many of the people I work with just want to make sure they're doing the right thing, and they are open to changing what they do to get closer to that goal. They are willing to be pro-social role models for the people we work with and do their best to maintain a positive outlook.
