It has been a great experience to work for GEO thus far. The good definitely outweigh the bad. The most upsetting area of the organization has been HR when I feel as though I am not being heard.
What makes you most happy at work?
Speaking with the staff and the participants.
What are some of the best things about your team?
They are smart, trustworthy, and realistic.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Being heard and not feeling like an outsider.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I appreciate the freedom to successfully do my job without my manager being overbearing. The communication is great and I feel as though I am apart of a team.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel as though the insurance is a barrier and hurts more than it helps. I disagree with being penalized for not participating in an annual survey. I also feel as though GEO is in need of being more competitive with pay across the board.
