My experience at Riverbend has been well. I am excited to continue watching the progress being made everyday. We create better opportunities here, and that effort is the foundation needed for rehabilitation facilities to be successful- in providing the best assistance possible
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The leadership team engages with employees and residents through acknowledgement and by ensuring that concerns are addressed. Additionally, everyone is made a part of a greater team and network.
What makes you most happy at work?
Assisting the residents and engaging with others everyday. I enjoy challenging the residents and developing connections with them that will eventually prepare them for release back into the general population.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The culture is inclusive of all people and residents . This demonstrates an environment that is dedicated to accepting others and ensuring the most comfort for all. That passion shows through how we care for our residents and most importantly how we care for ourselves
What are some of the best things about your team?
The team here at Riverbend is dedicated to being flexible. For example, employees assist in other departments and programs that they were not hired to work in. This type of dedication to service is a shared effort and shows the type of teamwork needed to ensure a safe and productive work environment
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I do not feel undervalued as an employee, however a wage suitable for living is necessary in order to ensure proper function of the the facility. It is my belief that a 44% increase for all clerk positions is suitable for proper compensation. Current entry level pay begins at a low $10.54 per hour.
