My experience is good so far. I wish there was more ways to move up in the Administration Department.
What makes you most happy at work?
Being useful and learning new things daily.
What are some of the best things about your team?
They are very helpful and kind!
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They are personable and not just some robots going by a program. They haven't lost site of being a human being.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I believe Clerks should make half of what Officers make because we deal with Detainees as well; being in dorms, having to speak with them, etc. We just don't have to escort or detain anyone. Getting paid minimum wage for being in essentially the same danger an officer can be in isn't fair.
