It is a well paid job. However, many times it is not a team effort and much favoritism takes place, leaving the hard workers unrecognized. Most of your days are spent working since it requires six days a week and much of your holidays as well. It has a great opportunity to better itself any time.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Being equal with one another when it comes to tasks.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The company will, at times, form a fun event for employees to participate.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Being consistent with objectives and following them through, listening to employees suggestions on how to improve their jobs and the company itself, be more respective of themselves and to fellow employees.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
The amount of employees is never consistent. Many times we are short-staffed having to pull the weight of other employees jobs, thus, creating stress, fatigue, negativity, etc. What can be improved is hiring full-time staff, listening to suggestions and following through with them.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
My job requires too many tasks to which it is not given the equal help that other shifts are given. There are too many tasks to be done and for such a few amount of employees on shift. Also, night shift lacks differential pay.
