Overall, my experience with GEO has been very positive. I love knowing that I can make a difference in our clients' lives. I appreciate each of my coworkers for different reasons & I know that management has my back.

Working for GEO has been a good experience overall. I feel like my opinion matters, but I also feel like I matter to the company. We're all striving for the same thing, and the company helps support us to achieve that goal.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Incredibly friendly & supportive when needed.

Good coverage for good prices.

Supportive & likeable coworkers. Clear expectations for the role I am in.

Being able to help others is one of the best parts of the job.

I feel cared about as an employee & feel appreciated for the work that I do.

My coworkers & our participants are a great part of why I am excited to go to work everyday.

My team is incredibly supportive & I know that I can turn to them with any questions or help that I need.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Receiving our PTO days at the start of the year, instead of having to earn them over time, is one of the best perks of this company.

I know that I can go to my leadership team with any questions that I have & they will assist me, or they will point me to someone who can.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Our team works really well together, and we always provide constructive feedback when needed. We're all very supportive of the company's goal and help each other on a daily basis to achieve that goal.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We all want to support each other, whether that's with coverage of appointments/classes, sitting in on meetings, & whatever else is needed. Management cares about our well-being, physically & mentally. Overall, it's a pretty positive environment.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel like there are other companies who offer higher payment for the same positions, & some of those positions at the other companies have less job requirements than our positions do. Additionally, cost of living raises would be beneficial, on top of the performance/annual raises.
What makes you most happy at work?
My coworkers are one of the main reasons why I am happy to go to work, because I enjoy spending time with them & know that I can lean on them. Another reason why I am happy to go to work is because of the work we do; we really have an opportunity to change lives.
