If GEO would chang they way they hire staff such as BOP does there background check and hire them as conditional we would get more staff. Stop being so strict and let people prove they can do the job and be good workers. We need help./
What makes you most happy at work?
My future work is dependent on learning what I can in my current position.
What are some of the best things about your team?
some are very friendly but are all stressed and annoyed with GEO's inability to hire people.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
My leadership team is extremely friendly and actively involved in friendly but professional relationships. We get along very well.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
the people i work with do what we can to boost each other up despite terrible working ours and sub par conditions.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I am paid at a better rate than my coo workers are but the rate is slashed substantially when over time is worked. And the only reason I could think to explain it is geo just wants to cut costs and save money. There is no reason to work over time as the rate we are paid is not correctional rate.
