I am happier and more relieved than I have been in years! Not being on edge, around staff that are on edge, and being micromanaged and second-guessed by supervisors who were not right for their positions can be very draining. GEO is the COMPLETE opposite of that!
What makes you most happy at work?
My job is not demanding, the people are so nice, and my supervisor trusts my decisions and abilities.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The pay cannot be beat, but the ease of relations between all staff is the biggest perk of the job!
What are some of the best things about your team?
Our team trust each other, respect each other, and support each other as professionals who know what they are doing!
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
When you get to the front door you can feel the ease and positivity that permeates the facility and staff; very different from the last 2 prisons I have worked at!
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I am new to the company, but I came for the competitor. Geo not only is a much friendlier, professional, and transparent outfit to work for but I honestly couldn't really tell you who the "management" staff are because they do not separate or establish themselves as not part of the same team!
