Working with support staff and hoping for a raise

I like to always be busy. My job seems very fast paced

I am quite new to GEO, however, the leadership seems very committed and dedicated.

They are giving 100%. We are just short staffed and the clerical pay is too low

The team I work with is very welcoming and always willing to help, always working so well together.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
As a library clerk the pay rate is lower than so many others. However, I am a former Lieutenant with experience in both corrections and detentions. I feel it would be more beneficial to pay according to individual skills/experience because I am qualified to benefit more than just my office.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Officers constantly getting raises. Support staff who are security just as much make $10 an hour. That is why I left. I am promoting to $12.10 as an instructor. If you want to keep support staff (crucial to this prison) you need to up their pay for cost of living and confidence!
