What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Communicate and train TEA’s that are coming into the compound instead of throwing people
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Emphasis on the fact that we are suppose to be a team and have each others back. Staff are nicer to the inmates than to other staff.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
This job is a huge safety risk. The new staff on the compound are putting others in harm, so their should be a hazard pay included in the base rate.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Coworkers are having inappropriate interactions with inmates. Staff is disrespectful, and putting hands on and cussing out other staff. Admin staff stand up front and trash talk other staff members. This box isn?
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Too much drama, and disrespect happening between staff. And some staff invoke inmates which is a safety concern. There needs to be more direction, more training, and overall better screening process when hiring instead of hiring anyone that applies.
