What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Our facility goals are clear and staff buy in to our goals. Individual departments communicate and work together to achieve our goals. Leadership is always available when questions or concerns arise. We are like family.
What makes you most happy at work?
I enjoy the fast pace environment as well as the family like atmosphere that comes along with corrections. Working with awesome people makes the day fly by. Seeing the impact we have on the lives of our incarcerated individuals motivates me to keep going.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Our team is like a big family. We recognize when someone is down and do our best to try and lift them up. We have employee appreciation events monthly to come together as a team to do something fun outside of our daily work tasks.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Leadership is approachable and I feel comfortable presenting any issues that may arise. I have confidence and a lot of respect for our leadership team who devotes a lot of time and energy into treating staff as family while also ensuring a secure environment for our incarcerated individuals.
