So far I really enjoy my new career with GEO. Everyday presents new challenges and experiences.
What makes you most happy at work?
I love having lunch with my co-workers and interacting with people from other departments.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I love the free lunch everyday it's great food and save us money. I like that everyone depends on each other. We realize that our safety depends on us working together.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We work together as a team. Each department is a team within itself and everyone is respected for the job they do and what they contribute to make our day safe and effective.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I really like the pay. I commute a hour everyday to my job because the pay is competitive. The only thing I do not like is that your do not accrue sick pay or annual leave every pay period.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
What I like most about GEO is they train you thoroughly on your job. The NEO training (New Employee Orientation) will prepare you on what to expect at GEO, what your role is at GEO, security on the job and what is expected of you.
