They are fun and they want to do a good job.
First, creating a culture of ethics and consistency. Standards need to be lived up to, and rules need to be followed. Second, there needs to be clear and thorough training. Third, standards/rule violators need to be adequately dealt with, to eliminate a hostile work environment.
My direct manager is unreasonable and creates a hostile work environment. Instead of simply asking for what she wants or pointing out a mistake politely, she is stern and illogical, finding flaws where none exist. She drives people away and hurts the company. I also question her ethics.
I do not come to work to take abuse from an unreasonable manager. Given the state of the economy, the high turnover rate associated with this prison, the hostile work environment created by my manager, and the stressful atmosphere of being in a prison. I feel undervalued by making less than $20/hr.
