Being new and coming into a position that had been unfilled for months (which goes back to the prior question about recruitment), there's a bit of getting things back in order, so it's fast paced right now... I'm hoping to systematize and improve things to make everyone's jobs easier.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We do not cotton to negative criticism.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Again, it comes down to inflation and cost of living.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We have a wide range of experience and hence together we can solve pretty much any problem.
What makes you most happy at work?
The people I work with... easygoing but hard working. If you've never worked in an environment where the people are beaten down by corporate culture, it's soul crushing. This company is not that way.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
As you are aware, the cost of living has increased drastically recently. It requires a higher proportion of take-home pay nowadays to purchase a home than it did in the depths of the Great Depression. We have potential employees who are being sniped by other employers. A COLA would be nice.
