What makes you most happy at work?
I love this job but I hate the company.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Our temporary "site manager" is lazy, incompetent, has very poor communication skills and he is taking credit for what our 3 leads are doing. He is supposed to do the schedule, keep our supplies and water stocked at all times. Any problems that you go to him for he tells you "talk to your lead".
What are some of the best things about your team?
Our team is the best. We do this job with our eyes closed. The site manager is clueless about air transportation of detainees. He rushes us to do pat downs but he doesn't do anything. Thanks to our leads amd our team and what we have been doing for years is why these flights are successful.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Our first pay check was missing hours and the site manager didn't really care, he told us "go to your lead and have them send emails to payroll". So, what is he here for? Our 3 leads are doing all the work that he is supposed to do. GEO posted this job for $27.97 an hour, why are we getting $25.12?
