Family oriented, empathetic, fun, silly, professional, fair, firm, consistent.
What makes you most happy at work?
Being able to vape outside and take a break from the computer screen!
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel undervalued only because the correctional officers separate themselves from programs/admin and other support staff, there is an "us vs them" mentality and it deters teamwork, and promotes toxicity. Compensation is good, however i would like to see more incentives for students.
