
In the states surrounding ours are making considerably more per hour.
Seem to have the common reason as to "why" we do what we do.
They take the time to answer questions and check in periodically to see how things are going as well as ask if I need anything from them.
The management, from what I have seen so far, try to boost morale by doing things like BBQ's, recognition, and leaving a not in our box saying things like "keep up the good work" and "I like how you handled...."
I get to use my education when teaching classes and my previous experience to connect and work with our participants to develop the tools to get them on the right path to making the necessary to stay out of the correctional system and be a productive member of society.
