Good, but the compensation and benefits could be better!!

Briefly describe your overall experience at your company

Slow. Boring. No communication. No clear expectations and no training tailored to all learning styles.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

Haven't met them yet, so no opinion.

What makes you most happy at work?

My colleagues and the work we all do together.

What are some of the best things about your team?

They're all willing to pitch in and help each other. Love that teamwork mentality!!

What makes you most happy at work?

The opportunity to learn and grow, even though it may not always be present.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

Everything. There's a ton of laziness, incompetence and ego. Makes the work environment less desirable.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

We cheer on participants and encourage them to cheer on their peers and celebrate successes and accomplishments.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Because despite my education AND experience, I'm still compensated the same as someone who just got out of college.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

We need more competency and line level leadership. Really feel sort of lost most of the time and my Manager just doesn't have the time to train me in relation to how I learn.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Bottomline, money talks. It's discouraging and disheartening when a major company such as GEO only pays its Case Managers $20/hour despite education and experience (should be AT LEAST $25/hour). To make matters worse, new hires have to wait 90 days for benefits to take effect. C'mon!!
