My experience at the company has been challenging. HR has been unresponsive to emails, and Case Specialists are consistently overworked and experiencing burnout. There is little to no work-life balance.
What are some of the best things about your team?
They work hard but are burned out.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Treating others with respect and dignity.
What makes you most happy at work?
Interacting with my coworkers, helping other succeed at this program, being supportive, staying positive.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The CS are over worked. They are expected to finish their shift and then go to the detention centers to continue working extra hours, late nights, and on the weekends. I've seen CS having mental health breakdowns and no one cares.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The Program Manager consistently goes above and beyond to assist with tasks in the office that are not part of her direct responsibilities, demonstrating strong teamwork. However, she does not advocate for her Case Specialists, who are experiencing burnout due to having to go to the jail detentions
