My director and assistant director are amazing
What makes you most happy at work?
Working with people who know what they are doing.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The few people that actually do the job correctly are a pleasure to work with and my director and assistant director are great.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Most work places have a differential for overnight shifts. And I think $17.75 is low for the amount of stress corrections work can be. I do not feel undervalued, I am just stating my opinion.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Retraining needs to be done. From staff members escalating issues with residents by the way they talk to them to staff members sleeping on the job. There needs to be some training and accountability and possibly termination.
